Interview with Lisa, Bill and Ron

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Lisa: No, I got out on Sunday as planned.
Bill: no
Ron: No, I was released after sentencing.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Lisa: It is my understanding that a person's time is cut in half for good behavior. I am not sure about that though.
Bill: Dont know
Ron: 1 day off for every 3 days done, if you also work, or are taking GED classes, otherwise 1 day for every week. So 20 day months maximum.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Lisa: Aretha Franklin said it best R-E-S-P-E-C-T of my female inmates. No one knows where a person started having trouble with the law and why. Judging is not allowed.
Ron: Don't disrepect the guards...Give them the one thing they are demanding; compliance. If you are a worker, don't pick on the sex crimes people, don't talk to non-trustee inmates, and just keep your mouth shut if you're going to say anything stupid. You need to lose your ego...They have the power.
